Acceptable Media Format
- CD-R Master
- CD (audio or data) only
Sound Quality
When supplying us with a master CD for duplication, please make sure that
the master sounds exactly the way you want the duplicated CDs to sound
and that the tracks are in the correct format.
We are unable to provide assistance with noise reduction, amplification, or other alterations to your supplied master CD.
CD File Size
The industry standard for CD length is 79:45 minutes, which equates to
about 700 mb. We accept CDs which are under 78 minutes or 680 mb.
General Tips
CD duplication is a delicate process. Please handle your CD masters with
great care by touching them only by the edges. This will minimize fingerprints,
oil and dust which can cause scratches and produce duplicated products
of poor quality.
Label your documents to us clearly with your name, quote number (if applicable) and your contact information. (We are not responsible for lost or misplaced materials.)
Acceptable File Formats (PC Files ONLY)
- Microsoft Publisher 97 or higher
- Quark Xpress 3.3 or higher
- Adobe Photoshop 4.0 or higher (for graphics/images only)*
- Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or higher (high resolution, 1200 dpi files only)
*Photoshop files are acceptable when submitting them as images. However, you should not prepare your entire design using Photoshop as text will appear jagged on the final output.
Formatting Guidelines
If we must modify your files for final output, a preparation fee will
be charged. Please following the following guidelines:
- Label your documents to us clearly with your name, quote number (if
applicable) and your contact information. (We are not responsible for
lost or misplaced materials.)
- Bleeds must be 1/4” in addition to the size of the template.
- Design elements, including text, should be kept at least 1/8”
from the edge of the template size.
- Please save all files as CMYK. (We cannot guarantee an identical match to PMS/Pantone® colors on short order runs.)
Supplied Images
Must be in a high resolution TIFF format for best output quality. We also
accept Photoshop files. If we must adjust an image file for proper output,
an additional fee will be charged.
Fonts
Do not bundle fonts with your publication. Instead, submit them in a compressed
(zipped file) format. Be sure to include all fonts. PostScript fonts have
multiple files for bold, italic and regular fonts. TrueType fonts are
typically a single font file.
